![]() ![]() Please send Jaye and myself the It is mentioned in the docs that I raised this ticket under for clarity, I am not sure what docs are being referred to when the customer said that "the MacOS Remote features are unsupported, but in the intune portal they exist.". If it it not, i would recommend that a support case should be opened. If a mac is enrolled with Intune and has had user approved enrollment and is on macOS 11+, it should be supervised. The grayed out remote actions are not supported for macOS, and the lit up ones are. Before macOS 11, 'supervision' for a mac was not supported. As of macOS 11 I believe, all macs enrolled with user approval are automatically considered supervised. Remote device actions for devices enrolled with setup assistant with modern auth for macOS will work the same as they do for any other macOS devices enrolled through ADE (automated device enrollment). If the customer is referring to the new auth method to enroll ADE devices - setup assistant with modern authentication as 'modern authentication', that feature released earlier than we expected late last week and we are working on getting documentation and a blog post out there early this upcoming week. And How Supervised to troubleshoot a device's "Supervised" status? Thank you Document Details In the attached screenshot, that particular device is marked as "Supervised: Yes" in the hardware settings, but Supervised: No in the DEP Devices Properties:Ĭould somebody clarify the Automatic Device Enrolment with "User Affinity with Modern Device Authentication" and also what options we have for MacOS management now. Even though the remote-actions appear alongside MacOS devices. In addition, there is no documentation about the remote-actions marked "(Supervised Only)" for MacOS. The documentation says that the MacOS Remote features are unsupported, but in the intune portal they exist. *Identifying Monetised Links - outgoing links that we monetise are marked with an '*' symbol. We're exited to make use of the new " Automatic Device Enrolment + User Affinity with Modern Device Authentication" features, but we've found that there isn't much documentation about it that we can find. One option gives you a choice of suggested times, but if they are not ideal, then select “Time” and “Day” and then set the time more desirable for you and hit save. You will see that you have scheduled a restart, but need to select a time for the restart to happen. Once you have selected that you will see an arrow on the top left-hand corner, which you need to press this returns you to the Windows update screen. Now click on Advanced Options and then Notify to schedule restart. ![]() Once there you will want to select Update & Security, after which you will see the Windows update screen displayed. In order to schedule a restart you need to go to the Start menu icon and then select Settings. Notify to schedule restart is the new option for Windows 10 users following an update, which is a very easy and welcome process. How many times have you been working on something important, only for Windows to update itself and get very pushy about restarting for the updates to be fully installed? However, Windows 10 will now stop you from getting stressed by allowing you to schedule a restart time that is more convenient for you.
